Gerald’s phone rang, seeing sade’s name on the screen he heaved a sigh of relief.

After speaking at length, they bade each other goodnight.

” This is the plan, you will call segun tell him you’re not falling for his prank. Insist on seeing the video. Also Gerald must not suspect a thing. Try and act as normal as possible until you confirm your fears okay?” Bukola lectured sade.

Sade replied dialing segun’s number ” Yea I get. I just hope it is all a lie”
Signaling to bukola to keep shut as she spoke with segun.

” Hello”
” Hi it’s sade”
” Finally barbie called” he said laughing
” Whatever segun, look I called you because I do not believe you” an irritated sade replied.

” Hmmmm, really?”
” Yes, so why don’t you convince me”
” That won’t be a problem at all, meet me by 5 at Gerald’s place on saturday. You’ll see for yourself”
” Fine I’ll met you there” sade ended the call.

What a world! Sade thought as she lay awake the following morning.

What would she have done without bukola? She asked herself. Bukola didn’t have a sound sleep last night all thanks to her. She had cuddled and begged her to stop crying.

” Bukky… Bukola” sade called hitting her trying to wake her up. Finally bukola opened her eyes
” Its morning dear wake up”
Bukola yawned rubbing her eyes.

” I can’t believe it morning”
Sade only managed a nod standing to her feet.

Soon they were both preparing for work.

Looking at the mirror sade saw how swollen her eyes are. Anyways thanks to conceals, she’ll conceal the swollen eyes. She said to herself.

Leaving for work bukola reminded sade to be a good girl and not spoil everything.

” Be calm with him, don’t cry and please try and act normal”
Sade thought about her relationship with Gerald, remembering her mom’s dream of being caught in a trap. It was also the same day she lost her virginity. Tears gathered in her eyes, she blinked hard to conceal the tears.

Her day went well,she did her best in acting normal. She smiled occasionally, hiding the tears. She was glad when closing time came.

Even when Gerald insisted on dropping her she didn’t argue.
