A Watch Dogs movie based on the Ubisoft series of video games has been revealed, alongside the film’s lead actress.

Deadline has revealed that a Watch Dogs movie is in the works with Talk to Me star Sophie Wilde set to lead. The film is set in the universe of the Watch Dogs game series, which is made up for 2014’s Watch Dogs, 2016’s Watch Dogs 2, and 2020’s Watch Dogs: Legion, as well as multiple expansions.

The games typically follow a hacker or a group of hackers who use the expansive central Operating System network (also called ctOS) to obtain information and control electronics in order to take on corrupt organizations and villainous individuals.
