EPL: Man Utd mathematically out of title race after 2-2 draw with Liverpool

Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool, means it is mathematically impossible for them to win the Premier League title this season.

The Red Devils fought back from a goal down to take the lead against Jurgen Klopp’s men.

However, Aaron Wan-Bissaka was adjudged to have fouled Harvey Elliott inside the box and Mohamed Salah put away the penalty.

The result saw Liverpool drop points in the title race and they are now second on the log with 71 points, behind Arsenal on goal difference.

But for United, there is no chance of them winning it this season, as they now have 49 points with seven fixtures left to play.

United last won the league title in the 2011/2012 campaign under Sir Alex Ferguson.
