Acapulco Season 3 Trailer Previews Return of Apple TV+ Comedy

The trailer for Acapulco Season 3 previews the return of the Apple TV+ comedy, which is executive produced and led by SAG Award winner Eugenio Derbez, and premieres in May.

The series debuts with two episodes on Wednesday, May 1. From there, it will release new episodes every Wednesday until the finale on June 26.

What to know about Acapulco Season 3, and who else is in the cast?

In the upcoming installment of the Apple TV+ comedy, the focus will be on reconciling past mistakes with exciting new beginnings. In the present-day story, older Máximo (Derbez) returns to Las Colinas but he no longer recognizes it. Meanwhile, in 1985, younger Máximo (Enrique Arrizon) continues to find success even though he’s potentially “jeopardizing all the relationships he’s worked so hard to build,” per the official synopsis.

Along with Derbez and Arrizon, the Acapulco Season 3 cast includes Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Rafael Cebrián, Regina Orozco, and Carlos Corona, with recurring guest stars Jaime Camil (Schmigadoon) and Cristo Fernández (Ted Lasso) joining the show.

The series hails from Lionsgate Television and is inspired by 3Pas Studios and Pantelion Films’ box office hit How to Be a Latin Lover. It is produced for Apple by Lionsgate Television, 3Pas Studios, Zihuatanejo Productions, and the Tannenbaum Company. In addition to starring in the series, Derbez serves as executive producer alongside Ben Odell.

Acapulco is created by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman. Winsberg also executive produces with Sam Laybourne who serves as showrunner and executive producer.
