This is an official biography of Tobi Bakre, Big Brother 2018 Housemate and first Head of House – Tobi Bakre Is a Creative Artist who “mainly works with mixed media”. He is a photographer, Investment Banker, Published Photographer, MC-Compere and Model.

Tobi is a 28-year old graduate of University of Lagos, Nigeria. He worked with Heritage Bank Nigeria PLC.



Tobi was born on June 1, 1990 into a wealthy family of four. He is the last born of the Ogun family.



Bakre is a graduate of Banking and Finance, University of Lagos. He earned his degree in 2012. Meanwhile, his time in school is shrouded with a series of controversies; especially as regards the opposite sex.

However, Tobi previously attended Engreg High School, Lagos.



Tobi Bakre launched his professional career with a brief stint at Laudable Express Limited, Lagos. He served here between October 2012 and April 2013.

Between April 2013 and February 2014, he worked as a Protocol Officer at the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Abuja.

Tobi later moved on to Heritage bank as a Trainee in 2014. He also worked briefly as Relationship Manager, Financial Institutions, Treasury; and later on as a Dealer. He left the bank in December 2017. Tobi claims he earned 130,000 naira on this job

Oluwatobi Bakre is indeed passionate about photography. Thus, he took it up as a career in January 2016. He runs Tobi Bakare Photography, a label he founded as the sole Creative Director and Photographer in Lagos.

Tobi’s hobbies include football, poetry, dancing, rapping, singing and drawing.


Tobi was inducted into the Big Brother Naija Double Wahala House on Sunday 28 January, 2018. He claims he has always wanted to be in the House, albeit only “for fun”.

Suddenly, he was crowned the first Head of House in the on-going Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) 2018 reality show. This was after he emerged winner of the tasks given to all the contestants by ‘Big Brother’ on Monday. He chose the title Kabiyesi.



The initial pairings saw Tobi teaming up with Cee c. Gradually they developed beyond just mere game partners. They kept fighting and coming back together until they decided to call it quits.
