Buhari Could Not Attend Inauguration Luncheon Because He Went For Friday Prayers —Osinbajo
VICE President Yemi Osinbajo, on Friday, explained the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari at the state luncheon organised for world leaders and diplomats who graced the inauguration of the president.
The international dignitaries had been hosted at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, without the president in attendance.
He had showed up briefly at the Banquet Hall earlier to exchange pleasantries with the guests after arriving from Eagle Square venue of the presidential inauguration.
President soon left the hall, leaving the guests to be entertained with food and music supplied by a live band and did not return.
