George and Amal Clooney, on Tuesday 6th June welcomed their twins, a boy and a girl, according to a statement issued through their spokesman, Stan Rosenfield.

This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives.

Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine,” the couple said in a statement to CNN.

These are the first children for both Amal and George.

Over the years, the world has watched Clooney reverse his positions from settling down (he was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993) or having kids.

That all changed in 2013 when the actor met Amal Alamuddin, a Lebanese-British human rights lawyer, and proposed in April of the following year.
