Horror: Woman Loses Baby Five Days Before Due Date After Her Boyfriend Did This Shocking Thing

A woman has lost her baby just five days before her due date after her boyfriend did something really shocking to her.

Jessy Johnson, a 19-year-old heavily pregnant woman who was just five days from her due date lost her unborn baby daughter after her drunk partner kicked her in the stomach.

According to Metro UK, the young girl fell to the floor in pain before Stuart Samson, 37, whispered in her ear telling her not to call an ambulance to avoid social services getting involved, a court heard.

Samson was jailed this week for two years and nine months after pleading guilty to two offences of assault causing actual bodily harm.

After the sentencing, Miss Johnson slammed prosecutors for not viewing her stillborn child as being ‘human’ and for not charging Samson with murder or child destruction.

Now 21, Miss Johnson from Pontefract, said: ‘I’m so angry about his sentence. No sentence will bring back my baby.

‘He only pleaded guilty to get a lesser sentence and he showed no remorse at court from what I saw.

‘What really annoys me is that they didn’t charge him with murder or child destruction.

‘The prosecution told me because the baby had not been born they didn’t see her as being human – even though she was full-term.’

Miss Johnson kept the death of her daughter ‘Mila Francis’ a secret from her family for days after finding out the devastating news.

‘I didn’t tell anybody except my best friend that Mila had died,’ Miss Johnson said.

‘I had everyone coming up and saying, “not long now” and I had to go along with it.

‘It was horrible.’

The court heard how Miss Johnson left Samson after the attack on April 16 last year and went to her mother’s home without calling the emergency services.

Jurors heard how Miss Johnson could not feel her baby moving the next day.

She went to hospital where a detailed scan revealed the baby had died. Her stillborn baby was later delivered.

Prosecuting, Peter Moulson said Samson’s kick had caused Miss Johnson to suffer injuries which caused the unborn child to suffer from a lack of oxygen.

Judge Guy Kearl, QC, said: ‘In my judgement, it was utterly foreseeable that the deliberate blow with your foot to the lower part of her body would cause harm to her unborn baby.

‘I bear in mind that I am dealing with you for a kick to the stomach of a pregnant woman.

‘You are not charged with any offence relating to the death of the unborn baby.

‘However, the fact that the unborn baby, nearly at the end of its term, did die is an aggravating feature.

‘You accept that the kick did cause the death of the baby and that is in line with the medical evidence.’

The court heard how Samson went on to attack Miss Johnson for a second time, on February 21 this year, at his flat in Hemsworth, West Yorkshire.

Samson hit Miss Johnson in the face, chipping her tooth, after the pair had both been drinking.
