President Muhammadu Buhari has formally resumed work and has sent an official 'Letter of Resumption' to the National Assembly to the effect.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the President, who returned to the country on Friday after a successful medical vacation in London for more than a month, entered his office at around 11.15 a.m.

The president’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, confirmed the development while fielding questions from State House correspondents in Abuja on Monday, adding that the president would later hold meeting with Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo.

A video has been obtained showing how the president started his day, the official handover from VP Yemi Osinbajo, and how he signed his resumption letter which was sent to the National Assembly.
