Last month, it was in the news that Pres. Buhari only reluctantly approved N70m for this year’s celebration.According to the SGF, Buhari reluctantly approved the N70m after complaining that he would have preferred the money is diverted for the payment of workers salaries.


He said the president had argued that the money was too much to be spent on frivolities such as celebrations when Nigerians are grappling to survive the present day economic stress . .

Now the Kaduna State governor, Nasir Elrufai, has drawn up a comparison of the amount with the one spent in the last 4 years by the
immediate past PDP led administration…… many Nigerians r now saying ds Buhari is jst stingy n dt GEJ shld pls come back!
