Karim Benzema Laughed At Real Madrid To Arsenal Transfer Rumours

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has said he "never" considered leaving the club for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.


Arsenal have regularly been linked with Benzema, 27, but in August the France international hit out at the "clowns" making claims about a transfer to the Gunners.

Benzema signed for Real from Lyon in 2009, and he sees his future with the Liga giants.


Asked if he had considered leaving Real for Arsenal, the attacker is quoted by the Daily Mirror as replying: "Never.
"I laugh about it with my brother and my friends. We wait for the media to come out with these rumours.


"In my opinion, I think that Real and Barca are the pinnacle in football. Why would I leave?
"I'm a starter for the best club in the world. I am happy; it's that simple."
