Manchester United Boss, Jose Mourinho Apologises To Chelsea Fans On Instagram

It seems likely that Jose Mourinho will always have a difficult relationship with Chelsea supporters.

Mourinho may have delivered huge success over two spells at Stamford Bridge but now he is manager of Manchester United and The Special One did leave the Blues in a pretty poor state.

Chelsea supporters may be thankful for Mourinho’s successes at Stamford Bridge, but ultimately they see him as a Premier League rival now, as manager of free spending Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho in Instagram storm with Chelsea supporters

Jose Mourinho’s son, José Mario Mourinho, plays for the Fulham Under-18 side and in recent days has started to receive a fair amount of hate from Chelsea supporters.

Fulham are amongst Chelsea’s local clubs and there has always been animosity between the Blues and the Cottagers.

On Saturday, José Mario Mourinho played 45 minutes for Fulham Under-18s who beat Chelsea 2-1.

Camel emojis wind up Chelsea fans

Mourinho’s son posted the picture below and stated: “Buzzin about today! Beat Chelsea 2-1, played second half, clean sheet, very proud, made a couple of great saves! #COYW”.

This angered Chelsea supporters on Instagram who wrote to Mourinho and his son with some pretty harsh words.

On an older post from José Mario Mourinho, the Manchester United boss subsequently posted an emoji of camels to describe Chelsea fans and also the scoreline.

As you can imagine, this sent Chelsea fans into overdrive and Jose Mourinho has today written an apology to fans of his former club. See how it all played out below…
