National Broadcasting Commission, NBC in charge of media contents being aired on national television and radio stations have banned songs from Falz, Olamide and Wande Coal, all from airing.


In a letter sent to a radio station, the body specifically mentioned Falz’s “This is Nigeria“, Olamide’s “See Mary, see Jesus” and Wande Coal’s “Iskaba” as songs containing vulgar words or words against their rules and regulations.

As a penalty to the radio station for heeding previous warnings, the NBC issued a them a fine of N100,000.
