Governor of Lagos, Akinwumi Ambode received Ooni of Ife at Lagos state government house, Ikeja on Wednesday. Speaking while receiving him, Ambode said;

“We received His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, at Lagos House, Ikeja.

“Lagos State plays a very significant role in sustaining the beautiful and rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba race. Our administration will uphold the values and cultural integrity of our people.”
