Manchester United and Tottenham meet in the Premier League this Sunday in what is undoubtedly the stand-out fixture of the weekend.

Both clubs are under a bit of pressure after recent poor performances, with United in particular need of a win after just two in their last ten in the league.

Jose Mourinho’s side enjoyed a win in the Europa League on Thursday, with perhaps some encouraging signs of improvement in enough areas to suggest that results will soon come domestically as well.

Manchester United are yet to really win a big game this season, and Pogba is yet to influence one.

The France international is certainly not looking like an £89million player based on what we’ve seen so far, but he can turn things around for himself if he makes a decisive impact in this important match.

Lose and United are nine points behind Tottenham, while a win closes the gap to three points and gives them every hope of overtaking their rivals in the race for a top four spot.



Tottenham’s big boost comes in the form of Toby Alderweireld’s likely return from injury, with the Belgian expected to come straight back into the side for this Sunday’s showdown at Old Trafford.

Apart from that, Mauricio Pochettino will likely field the usual suspects, though players like Dele Alli and Harry Kane may need to up their games after some slightly indifferent recent form.
