Wizkid: Angry Sony Music Takes Down Singer’s New Drake Collabo

Nigerian singer, Wizkid‘s new effort with International star, Drake, ‘Hush Up The Silence (Come Closer)’ was leaked online a few days ago to great reception by the Starboy’s fans.

Apparently, the guys at SONY Music are not happy about the leak and they have moved to mop up the unfinished single from circulation.

Naijaloaded reports that many of the sites that uploaded the single have been contacted by the company’s representatives to kindly take down the song.

Thenetng confirmed earlier today that the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry appealed to them to assist in taking down the song.

The IFPI is an association of record companies in the US, including SONY Music.

Naijaloaded also reports that many international and local platforms have also taken down the song with only a few small sites still having the song online.
