We need four more wins for NPFL survival – Abia Warriors coach, Biffo

Head coach of Abia Warriors, Abdullahi Biffo, has said that they need to record four more wins, to avoid relegation from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The Ocendo Babes fought hard to draw with MFM FC in a Match Day 33 fixture, played at the Agege Stadium on Monday.

Biffo hailed his team’s fighting spirit and made it clear they are eyeing more victories as the season comes to a close.


“I’m sure you noticed the desire and fighting spirit in the way we played against MFM FC,” Biffo told Goal.

“We believe all will be fine at the home bend of the season.

“We are fully aware of our situation and we know we have to win at least four matches if we are to have any chance of staying in the top division.

“At this crucial stage of the league season, we understand the importance of getting good results in our games.


“We have decided to go all out and claim three points against FC Ifeanyi Ubah.”

Abia Warriors are currently 16th with 40 points.
