The Juventus midfielder is understood to be on the verge of a massive transfer back to Manchester United but his agent claims that any agreement is yet to be made
Manchester United do not yet have a deal in place to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus, claims agent Mino Raiola.
Pogba's future has developed into the biggest transfer story of the summer, with United leading the chase for the midfielder while Real Madrid also keen to land him.
However, Pogba's representative Raiola has since taken to Twitter to claim that no club has triggered a deal to sign Pogba at this stage.
There is no deal done regarding Paul Pogba, lots of bla bla bla.— Mino Raiola (@MinoRaiola) July 21, 2016
Raiola wrote on Twitter: “There is no deal done regarding Paul Pogba, lots of bla bla bla.”
United boss Jose Mourinho revealed earlier on Thursday that he is “really confident” the club's hierarchy will deliver the players he has asked for, amid speculation Pogba is close to sealing a return to Old Trafford.
Mourinho wants to land four priority signings ahead of the new Premier League season, with Pogba viewed as the final addition following the arrivals of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan already this summer.
