The Golden Eaglets secured a comfortable win against the Suleja based side in a warm up game ahead 2017 U17 Afcon qualifier

Nigeria U17 defeated Super Lions 4-0 in a friendly game played on Wednesday at the Fifa Goal Project pitch in Abuja.

Goals from Ishaq Abdulrasak, Musa Usman, Nasifi Yahaya and Success Makanjuola were all Manu Garba’s boys needed to breeze past the Suleja based side in the friendly encounter.

"This is a good improvement from our previous matches and we want to commend you for another job well done,” Garba said after the game.

“We like the way you played in the second half but we can always improve on our best performance and it's important you listen to our instructions because winning all our matches is key to our progress in the qualifiers."

Nigeria face Niger Republic in a 2017 U17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The 11th edition of the biennial African cadet football tournament hold between April 2-16, 2017 in Madagascar.

The semi-finalists of the championship qualify for the 2017 Fifa U17 World Cup in India .
