“MTN Will Have To Pay $3.9 Billion Fine By December 3” – NCC by Tobi Braimoh

Telecommunications giant, MTN has been told by the Nigerian
Communications Commission (NCC ) that they have to pay a fine of
$3.9 billion for not disconnecting users with unregistered SIM cards
by 31st December.

An anonymous source at NCC told Reuter that, .
‘Appropiate action will be taken’ if MTN is unable to meet the
deadline.
