Everton reveals Simeone as classmate

The 2016 Federation Cup winning coach has revealed that he was a former course mate with Los Colchoneros tactician

Former FC Ifeanyi Ubah head coach Rafael Everton Lira has made a revelation of being a course mate to Atletico Madrid 's Diego Simeone after his short playing career.

The Brazilian who has called up his time with the Anambra Warriors after leading them to their first major silverware was a course mate to Simeone during the period of his coaching course before taking up a job with Fluminense second team.

"I stopped playing and went for my course where I was in the same class as (Atletico Madrid coach) Diego Simeone,"Everton was quoted by BBC Sport.
This class bond between both tacticians could back the similarities noticed in Everton's and Simeone's style of coaching and their mode of dressing - a black shirt on a black tie and a black jacket.
