Me and You (Me & U) is an R&B song which is the debut single by American singer Cassie, from her 2006 eponymous debut album.

Her frequent collaborator, Ryan Leslie, wrote and produced the song.

It was released on April 25, 2006 as the album’s lead single, eventually peaking at Number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Rhythmic chart.

In the UK, it reached Numbers 6 and 2 on the Singles chart and R&B chart respectively while entering the top ten in 7 other countries.

Its official remix, Me and You (Bad Boy Remix), features Diddy and Yung Joc.

The single has been certified platinum in the US and silver in the UK.

Tidbit: This song has been featured in the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows versions of Grand Theft Auto V (2014).
