Cutting Crew - (I Just) Died in Your Arms
(I Just) Died in Your Arms is a rock song recorded by English rock band Cutting Crew, for their 1986 debut studio album, Broadcast.
Band front-man Nick Van Eede penned the song while the band as well as Terry Brown and John Jansen handled its production.
On July 25, 1986, it was released as the album’s lead single and became the band’s biggest hit.
The single reached the top of the charts in the US, Finland and Canada, while also reaching the top five in Sweden, South Africa, the UK and Switzerland.
There’s also a famous Jay Z remix entitled Died in your Arms Tonight (Remix), done under the pseudonym New World Order (N.O) and hosted by DJ Snake, albeit it’s not listed officially as a Jay Z song.
