Bruma flattered by Sevilla interest

The Portugal Under-21 winger intends to stay at the Super Lig side amid speculation surrounding his future, following a successful campaign on loan at Real Sociedad

Galatasaray winger Bruma says he will stay at the Turkish giants and fight for his place, but is flattered by reported interest from Sevilla.

The Portugal Under-21 international spent the 2015-16 season on loan at Real Sociedad, scoring twice in 32 Liga appearances, before returning to parent club Galatasaray ahead of the new Super Lig campaign.

Bruma, 21, has, been linked with a move to a number of other European clubs, including Sevilla, Monaco and PSV, but insists he is happy at the Turk Telekom Arena.

"To be considered for these teams is flattering," Bruma told Goal. "That means you are doing your job well and those teams have been watching you.

"I thank all those clubs who are interested in me, but I have a contract with Galatasaray. I will continue at Galatasaray.
"I have left these issues to the board members. I feel better that way. I'm just playing football and don't worry about the rest."

Bruma added that he valued his playing time in the Spanish top tier, the attacker is looking to carry his development into his game in Turkey instead of making a return to La Liga.

"I have gained enormous experience in La Liga as a football player and as a person. Now I want to build on those experiences," Bruma added.

A recent failed political coup has prompted some concerns for players in the Super Lig, with Mario Gomez leaving Besiktas as a direct result of the situation. Bruma, though, has no such concerns.
"These type of things happen everywhere around the world. This isn't exclusive to Turkey. Turkey is a beautiful country and Istanbul is an amazing city. We are very happy to be here."
