Book of Days is a new age hit song composed and recorded by Irish musician Enya.
It was released in two versions: The original version, included on her 1991 third studio album Shepherd Moons, was sung in Irish Gaelic; The following 1992 single version which was bilingual and had new English lyrics.
Like most Enya songs, this one too has had its fair share of features. It was used by Toyota in an advertising campaign for the Carina E in the UK in the early 1990s.
It was also used as a temp track during the editing of James Cameron‘s 1997 epic romantic-disaster motion picture Titanic; and as background music during the Medal Ceremonies at the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Berlin.
Enjoy.
