Strong rumours have it that Diego Costa who is currently at loggerheads with authorities at Chelsea could have found an escape route from the debacle.

Diego Costa appears to have concluded arrangement with Fenerbahce, as he is expected to arrive in Istanbul later today ahead of a move to the club.

The Spain international will complete a medical and, if successful he’ll compete a loan move to the Super Lig heavyweights.

Milliyet say the Blues will pay a whopping 75 per cent of his salary. The Turkish transfer window is open until 8PM tomorrow evening so there is a race against the clock for Fenerbahce and Chelsea to hammer out the finer details of this deal.

Costa was dumped via text message by Blues boss Conte. Conte wrote: “Hi Diego, I hope you are well. Thanks for the seasono [sic] we spent together.”
