Dear Akokites, This holiday, Not For Bussiness By Aminu Opeyemi

So a Unilag student called me last week
and was like Opeyemi what’s up?

Now that
we are on holiday what the do?
Yesterday I also received a lot of pings from my close pals who have been “sent packing” from the school hostel.

LOL they want to move in to my condominium.

That’s not possible, the school session is officially over please go home, plus I don’t want to breach section 99 of the constitution that says hey let me not bore you with constitutes.

I’m Opeyemi by the way, now a semifinalist in the department of pharmacology Unilag.

Let’s revise a few holiday routines and hopefully add a few things while we remove some.

First things first, Go home its called an holiday not a time for you to go on pilgrimage to your friends place.

Apparently if you are someone like me you might end up visiting your old friends everyday of your holiday.

I must say it Unilag has kept us on shore since January.

But what can you do to save yourself the stress of going from one street to the other, ORGANIZE A GET TOGETHER.

Its about that time of the year that almost everyone is always on break, sabbatical, holiday etc.

Just create a Facebook campaign and you’ll be saving yourself a lot of stress and time.
SLEEPING ALL DAY CHATTING ALL NIGHT!!!

According to recent discoveries people sleep more when they are on holidays.

Lol. That’s no new but welcome to this part of the world where the social media has robbed people more of their time than anything else.

I’m also a victim of the media. But let’s not waste our holidays sleeping all day and chatting all night.

That bring the issue of power outage, yes if you are reading this and you’ve ever complained about Unilag light, time to apologize, you can address your letter of apology it to I’ll have it posted here for every akokite to read and decide whether you ought to get hostel in the upcoming session or Nah.

Mind you it must be written in ms.word (1992) format, triple spacing.
If you are spending your holiday in this country please get your power bank ready. As future researches will indicate that your happiness level is in sync with your battery level.

A relationship that is in direct proportion.That being said what are the things you can do, to make this holiday a memorable one?

I mean everyone wants to buy the fliest kicks, rock the latest weaves, use the latest smart phones on campus next session.

As for me I’m going to pay my next session fees myself. I know its not much of an heroic thing to do but if I tell a private university student I pay my bills I think I’ll get the you the boss look.

The bottom line is that we all wanna make money, so what are the things to do this holiday to make money. If you are reading this it’s not too late.
