Ink Edwards gives his latest single, ‘Maria’, inspired by legendary Carlos Santana’s evergreen single ‘Maria Maria’, a deserving treat by collaborating with L.A.X, who’s currently having a swell 2018 after dropping different hit tracks.



Hardworking Ink Edwards, having set a matchless standard in the Nigerian music industry with his songs that are appealing to different generations and pleasing to music listeners, critics and pundits, is not slowing down his tempo, keeps soaring higher and improving on his much-admired crafts.


The songwriter, singer, rapper, poet and fashion entrepreneur is one of the very few Nigerian artistes who give due credits to others for sampling their materials. On this note, Ink Edwards didn’t hesitate to give credit to iconic Ghanaian music duo, R2Bees and top Nigerian vocalist, Wande Coal for sampling a part of their ‘Kiss Your Hand’ lyrics on ‘Maria’, which was produced by Galactic Beatz.



‘Maria’, a song praising the beauty of a woman, has been reviewed to top different music charts nationwide, and was well-nurtured by different music heads who contributed immensely to the berth of the serenading masterpiece.
