It was written and produced by Darkchild and D’Mile, with additional writing from Tasleema Yasin and LaShawn Daniels.

On December 26, 2007, the track was released as the lead single from the album, reaching the top of the US Billboard Dance Club Songs and charts in Japan and South Korea.

Besides reaching an impressive Number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song also garnered much positive reviews from music pundits.

Internationally, it reached the top ten in Canada, Greece, Slovakia and South Africa as well.
