The Tide Is High is a song written by John Holt and originally recorded in 1966 by Jamaican group The Paragons.

It was a hit in 1980 for American band Blondie and also in 2002 for British girl group Atomic Kitten.

Then in 2008, Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall released a dancehall/hip hop version as the fourth single from his fourth album Not 4 Sale.

There are 3 versions: one features Keri Hilson, another features Rihanna and the third features Nicole Scherzinger.
