Kat DeLuna is back in the game but this time, she’s not here to “Whine Up” or “Run the Show.” She’s here with a new attitude!


The Dominican singer-songwriter has returned to the music biz with her first-ever Latin Trap break-out song, “Nueva Actitud,” featuring Arcangel. The single, exclusively premiering on Billboard today (Oct. 12), is a fresh song with lyrics that celebrate women empowerment and self-confidence.

“I’m a Dominican who grew up in the NYC area her entire life, so of course in my household, we followed the Spanish urban music movement,” she said in a statement. “Growing up, I used to go hard to all the Playero albums and learned how to sing/rap just like I’m doing in this track. This movement is part of me, so I knew I had to take it back to the old school sound. I reached out to Arcangel who embodies the new style and old-school style in this music genre. Love his attitude and flow which really match the song.”

DeLuna assures that her new song is an anthem for women and everyone who stands up for what they believe in. “It’s a movement …. rise up and go after your dreams with a NUEVA ACTITUD.”
