Banky W: “I’m sad I didn’t get to be on MI’s new album”

R&B singer and also lead henchman of EME — Banky W has revealed he is sad that he is not on M.I’s 3rd album, The Chairman released today, as a featured artiste.

Banky made this known today via Instagram while urging fans to go out and buy copies of the album.
While thanking MI for inspiring him and describing the new album as a classic, wrote:‘Bigups to my favourite rapper on the continent, @mi_abaga on the release of his album. Thank u for continuing to inspire me. Sad that I didn’t get to be on the album, but proud of U, inspired by ur work and wishing u nothing but the best always. Yall make sure u cop this classic.’

The Chairman album, which is M.I’s third full-length studio album, features artiste like Wizkid, Seyi Shay, Ice Prince, Olamide Reminisce, Patoranking, Runtown, Sarkodie, 2face, Nosa, Koker, Sound Sultan, Emmy Ace and Bennie Man.
The two stars are not exactly new to collaborating on projects as they have been on two tracks before at different times in their career. In a song titled ‘Feeling It’ off Banky W’s The W Experience album, the ‘Lagos Party’ star featured the rapper who is fond of describing himself as the ‘short, black boy’ while they also hooked up to deliver ‘Still together,’ an ode to Nigeria for the country’s 50th independence anniversary in 2010.
