It was written and produced by Jimmy Page, with additional writing from Robert Plant

Atlantic Records released the track as a single on November 5, 1970, recording success on the charts.

It reached Number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 while entering the top ten in New Zealand, Canada, Denmark and 5 other countries.

This happens to be one of the band’s most known hit songs, spinning off numerous cover versions by various artists.
