Rio 2016 Olympics: Usain Bolt desperate to break 200m world record

Usain Bolt is eager to break his own record in the 200metres at the 2016 Olympics.
The Jamaican runner, became the first man the win the 100m title in the Olympics for a third time and begins his bid for an eighth Olympic gold in the 200m heats on Tuesday.

Bolt’s seven-year record currently stands at 19.19secs

“This is one of the biggest things,” Bolt said.

“I really want [the] 200m world record. If I can get a good rest after the semi-finals, there’s a possibility I could.

“When it comes to the 200m, I’m much more confident. The 100m is always the hardest one for me.”
