Ilechukwu disappointed with MFM's finishing
The Olukoya Boys' tactician admits he is concerned about his side's ability in front of goal, following their home defeat to Plateau United
MFM FC head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu admits the poor conversion rate of his team has become a major concern after losing at home to Plateau United on Sunday.
The NPFL debutants announced their arrival on the big stage with a win away to Nasawa United, but lack of consistency has seen them drop below mid-table and a lack of turn around may see the debutants drop further down.
The Olukoya Boys have now suffered two defeats at home for the first time since they adopted the Agege Stadium as their ground in 2012.
"Converting those chances has become a major challenge but we won't give up as we continue to find the right mix to solve this problem. We shall continue to push for a solution because this isn't the time to go on a blame game but we shall continue to motivate and instill the belief that they can do it.
"I'm worried that we have dropped in form, I am even disturbed that we have lost twice at home but I know my team, I know that they have the champion instinct in them and I know that we shall rediscover our form."
