APC Chairman is Plotting To Remove Tinubu And Atiku From APC – Timi Frank

Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar have been warned to be vigilant as APC Chairman John Oyegun is working seriously to oust them from the party.

Former National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Timi Frank, has revealed that the National Chairman of the party, John Oyegun is plotting an attack on the national leader, Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar.

He said Oyegun’s plan is to rusticate the duo from the party.

Frank made the allegation while reacting to the disciplinary committee set up by Oyegun on Wednesday.

Frank warned Oyegun to stop running the party like a dictator.

According to Frank, Oyegun’s plan to review the party’s constitution “is a grand plot against the national leader of the party, Bola Tinubu, myself and other leaders who oppose his leadership style.”

Frank said “Chief Oyegun is vigorously working to ensure that he pushes out some prominent members of the party including the National Leader, Bola Tinubu, myself and so many other leaders who have spoken against his leadership style which is now more of a dictator.”

To him, it was hypocritical for Oyegun to talk of indiscipline, “when he has breached the same constitution more than any other persons.

His leadership has breached party constitution several times, even as regard to National Convention which the party law states clearly that it must be held every two years.

“Oyegun is talking about indiscipline when there are several allegations of bribery and favouritism yet unanswered hanging on his neck.”

Frank dared the party’s chairman to tell the world how he plans to fill some vacant positions in the National Working Committee, NWC, when “he is talking of non-elective national convention.

“Some of us have prepared to meet them at the convention no matter the evil agenda they are planning against us.”

He urged members of the party to look critically and reject the convention template as prepared by Oyegun-led NWC.

“The template is designed to favour themselves and some view interest within the party ahead of 2019 general elections,” he added.
