OBASANJO ATTACKS OYEDEPO OVER JONATHAN

Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on Monday attacked the Presiding Bishop of the Liv­ing Faith Church, otherwise called Winners Chapel, Dr. David Oyedepo, over a com­ment attributed to the cleric on Sunday that the gates of hell would be opened for those who failed to support the re-election bid of Presi­dent Goodluck Jonathan.
Obasanjo in his twitter.com/segunObasanjo account on Monday said that no pastor could tell Nigerians who to vote for.


He tweeted: “We all want #CHANGE. Vote based on what you know not on reli­gious or tribal sentiments! No one has the key to hell! Don’t be threatened!”

The former President added: “Has Bishop Oyede­po spoken out to condemn the legalised looting of bil­lions of dollars taking place under the watch of Presi­dent Jonathan?


“Did Bishop Oyedepo condemn the failure of the President to rescue the Chibok girls 9 months after they were kidnapped by the insurgents?


“Did Bishop Oyedepo speak out to condemn the manner in which the almost 300 Chibok girls were kid­napped?


“Did Oyedepo speak out when ASUU & ASUP were on strike twice in 4 years thereby leading to the loss of almost 2 years in the aca­demic calendar?”
Obasanjo was not done. He tweeted: “How many of the Pastors that are telling you to vote for GEJ have children who are unem­ployed graduates sitting at home?
“A man of God that does not have the key to free our beloved Chibok girls from captivity has the key to hell… GOD HELP US!


President Jonathan had on Sunday visited Winners Chapel Church where the cleric praised him.
