Champions League: Real Madrid defeat Sporting, City crush Mochengladbach

Real Madrid had to fight back from a goal down, to beat Sporting Lisbon 2-1 in Portugal.
The current holders of the Champions League, fell behind to Bruno Cesar’s goal three minutes after the interval.

Former Sporting winger, Cristiano Ronaldo, levelled in the 89th minute with a typical free-kick, while Alvaro Morata sealed all three points in the last minute.


Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick on his return to the Manchester City team, as Pep Guardiola’s men hammered Borussia Mochengladbach 4-0 in the rescheduled fixture.

In other games, Monaco beat Tottenham 2-1 at Wembley, Porto drew 1-1 with FC Koebenhavn, Leicester crowned their debut with a 3-0 win over Club Brugge and Dortmund hammered Legia Warszawa 6-0.
