After a league gamein Nembe that ended 1-0 in favour of Bayelsa Queens, fans of Bayelsa Queens attacked Sunshine Queens FC players.


It was gathered that the visiting team’s goal keeper, Elizabeth Johnson who reportedly made series of saves to frustrate the home fans during the game, was singled out for an attack after the game.

Sunshine Queens reportedly received lot of threats during the game by the fans who vowed to deal with them if they succeed in preventing Bayelsa Queens from winning during the game.
Johnson who sustained injuries on the head was quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment.
