BlackBerry releases software fix for the AT&T Priv's “No Service” issue

Canadian company BlackBerry has just announced that a fix for the dreaded “No Service” issue affecting the AT&T Priv smartphones is now available in the form of a software update.

It's been about a week since BlackBerry confirmed that it's working to address this problem that has been plaguing the Priv smartphones at AT&T for quite a long time.

If you own the AT&T Priv, then you've probably been affected by this issue at least a few times. The “No Service” bug sometimes prevents users from sending and receiving emails and text messages, among other things. The only way to solve the problem was to simply restart the smartphone.

Now BlackBerry has provided AT&T Priv owners with another workaround called Prevention Tool. In order to install the BlackBerry “No Service” Prevention Tool, you must enable the installation from Unknown Sources by heading to Settings / Security / Device administration.

But that's not the only step you must complete in order to have the Prevention Tool fully functional on your smartphone. BlackBerry has provided AT&T customers with a full set of instructions that explain the entire process.

It looks intimidating at first glance, but it's quite necessary even if you haven't been yet affected by the “No Service” issue. We providing below a link to BlackBerry's step-by-step instructions on how to install the BlackBerry “No Service” Prevention Tool, so make sure your follow the required steps.
