Microsoft Pix camera app updated with Live Image improvements, bug fixes

The intelligent camera app Microsoft Pix made its debut on the iOS platform back in July. Since then, the developers released quite a few updates that improved some of the app's existing features and even added more.

The most recent update for Microsoft's Pix camera app brings some enhancements to the Live Image features, but also a few bug fixes for well-known issues.

So, according to Microsoft, the Live Image's white balance has been improved to make it consistent with the captured photo. If you haven't taken advantage of the Live Image feature yet, you should know that it enables you to automatically create a short, looping video, bu stitching together the frames from the burst.

Another tweak introduced in this update is the ability to perform crop, rotation, filter, and face enhancements at the same time and apply the changes only once. A more than welcome improvement for those who like to edit their images while on the move.

As mentioned earlier, the update delivers some fixes as well. For example, Pix users will surely notice that the widget is now displayed correctly, whereas this wasn't possible in previous versions of the app.

Also, Microsoft confirmed that it has addressed a certain issue that photo editing does not always show final cropped, rotated, or filtered image and face enhancement correctly.

Microsoft Pix camera app version 1.0.21 has already been pushed to the App Store, so if have it installed on your iOS device you should check for the newest update.
