Informer is a reggae fusion/hip hop song by Canadian reggae musician Snow, from his 1992 debut album 12 Inches of Snow. The song features American recording artiste MC Shan who also doubles as the producer.

The hit song reached number one (1) on the US Billboard Hot 100 as well as in New Zealand, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Germany, Finland and Australia. It also peaked at number two (2) on the UK Singles chart.

Informer was certified platinum in the US by the RIAA.
