Prayer for Nigeria (E Go Better) is a politically conscious song recorded by Nigerian musician Tony Tetuila, for his 2006 studio album Free Soldier.

It was written by Tetuila and produced by Keynote.


The theme of the song centers on the problems that have endlessly plagued the Nigerian economy right from the attainment of independence.

With words of encouragement, Tetuila preaches that negativity and indifference would do the country no good, and incited the citizens to get up and make a change for good rather than wait for the corrupt politicians.

This is indeed a thought-provoking piece, and sadly remains relevant to this day.
