Regulate is a G-funk gangsta rap hip hop song recorded by American rapper and producer Warren G and singer Nate Dogg.

The Warren G-produced song was released on April 28, 1994 and was used as the soundtrack to the motion picture Above the Rim and later appeared on Warren G‘s debut studio album Regulate…G Funk Era.

Commercially, the song was successful and became a breakout single for both artists, peaking at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at number five on the UK Singles chart.

Regulate has been certified platinum in the US and was number 98 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.
