Biffo appointed Abia Warriors coach

The former Niger Tornadoes tactician was unveiled as new head coach of the Umuahia based team on Friday

Abia Warriors have unveiled Abdullahu Biffo as their new head coach following the resignation of Kennedy Boboye.

Biffo boast of an impressive record having managed Giwa FC and Kogi United in the past.
“I am pleased to have been asked to be part of this ambitious project,” Biffo told Goal.

“This is a new chapter in my coaching career and I hope to help the club achieve its objectives.
“We shall work together to make this club a brand that will make the people of Abia State proud.”
The unveiling took place at the Umuahia Township on Friday morning.
“We are pleased to have secured the services of a highly experienced coach like Abdullahi Biffo,” an official of the club said.
“He has a vast knowledge of the game and has worked in some of the most competitive professional environments.

“His appointment fits in perfectly with this club’s vision and strategy to become a competitive and successful team in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
“His extensive experience at development level will also ensure that our club continues to be at forefront of the development of some of the finest young talents in this country.”
