Gerald returned in the evening with Segun. He met bukola there.

She had brought a well cooked jollof rice and fried plantain for Sade. She’d been scared something really bad happened, she was glad her friend was better except from the bandage on her head she didn’t look sick at all.

” Babe, that is all that happened. Segun keeps saying Gerald loves me and all” sade said explaining the whole s*x tape drama and the cause of her accident to her friend.
While her mother pretended to be asleep.

” Sade… Folasade! ” Bukola called her. ”

Can I advise you? ” Bukola asked her friend. ” Of course, why then am I telling you? ” Sade replied.

” Gerald loves you, I know it. He made a mistake. Everybody does Sade. Don’t get me wrong ” she stopped,staring deep into her friend’s eyes.

” I’m not asking you to end your relationship with him, neither am I asking you to jump back into his arms. All I’m saying is follow your heart. Do what’s right dear ” Bukola advised.

” That’s the problem bukky, how do I know what’s right ?” Sade queried close to tears.

” Wisdom my dear! ” Bukola stated slowly. ” Wisdom they say is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom.

And in all your getting get understanding ” sade just stared at Bukola, she’ll make a very wise old lady she thought.

They had this conversation before Gerald came in, since then Sade had been pondering on Bukola’s words ” hmmm wisdom” she thought.

Gerald’s voice jolted her from her thoughts ” Bukky it’s been a while ”
” Yeah ” she answered with a dry smile. ”

How you doing” she asked him
” I’m alright ” he replied Bukola. ”

Sade hope you’re better now ” playing with her fingers Sade replied ” yes, I feel much better thanks ”

” Mr Johnson dropped by”

” Mr johnson? ” Gerald asked giving her a funny look. ” Erm, yes the man whose driver knocked me down” she explained reminding him.

” Oh, that’s his name! ” He exclaimed ” he has paid the bills already, the doctor said I’ll be discharged soon though ”
” That’s good news, I’ll go see him myself” he told them exiting the room, followed closely by Segun.

Bukola announced her departure, Mrs Akinterinwa also was ready to leave.

Sade was sad they had to go, but she didn’t have a choice.

They didn’t have any reason to spend the night with her, her condition wasn’t critical anymore.

Gerald and Segun also left after they both promised to see her the following day after work.

Sade la!d in her bed fighting with her thoughts. She still wants to be with Gerald but at the same time she didn’t want him anymore.

Hearing Bukola’s voice re-echoing in her head ” Wisdom and Understanding” she prayed to God for divine understanding to handle her present situation.

She felt relieved and happier after casting her burden unto Jesus.

She slept off…
